The registration form for TIGPS Hooghly can be submitted through manual mode.
Manual-Applicants can contact the school office for the offline registration form. The form can be collected from the office on payment of a fee. After submission of the completed registration form, the school will provide an Admit Card.
Mere allocation of a user ID does not guarantee admission. Admission is based on the child's merit and performance in the selection process, which includes an Entrance Examination. The examination date will be announced in advance on the school website.
The following documents need to be presented for registration:
- A photocopy of Birth Certificate of original Birth certificate issued by the Corporation/Municipality/Gram Panchayat.
- A photocopy of the Report Card from the school and class last attended. (Not applicable for Play Group, Nursery and KG).
- Two recent stamp size photographs of the applicant
- Proof of Residence
- Photocopy of the Aadhar Card of the applicant and both the parents.
- Photocopy of Caste certificate (if applicable).
- Blood Group test document.
- Passport size photograph of both the parents (one copy each).
The final list of selected candidates for each class will be published on the School Notice Board.
Selected candidates must complete the following formalities within the stipulated time:
- The admission form must be signed by both parents.
- Fees must be paid by the due date via demand draft only.
- The original Birth Certificate must be presented for verification at the time of admission.
- Transfer Certificate (TC) from the last attended school is required (except for Play Group to Class I).
- For students joining Class VIII and above, the TC must be countersigned by the District Education Officer/Regional Officer if transferring from another school.
Refund of Fees:
- The admission fee is non-refundable under any circumstances
- The security deposit may be refunded if a written request is submitted to the school authority within 30 days from the date of admission and before the commencement of regular classes.
- Only students admitted with all required documents are eligible for a security deposit refund.
- No refund will be provided if a student withdraws admission without submitting a written request within the stipulated period.
- Any outstanding dues cannot be adjusted against the security deposit.
Withdrawal policy:
- Students requesting a Transfer Certificate during the academic term will be required to pay fees for the entire academic year.
- Parents after collecting the TC have to apply for Security Refund within 60 days from the issuance date of the TC.
